Charity and community work is at the heart of Hull City AFC.
We're proud of the work that Tigers fans do for charity and for the people of this community. The sheer volume of requests we receive for items to auction indicates the amazing commitment of our supporters to help others less fortunate than themselves.
The Tigers would love to donate signed merchandise / raffle / auction items to every worthwhile cause, however this would be impossible due to the incredible volume of requests the Club receives on a daily basis.
The Club has a maximum of two nominated charities each season. As well as providing support and publicity for these charities, we have a limited amount of additional merchandise each season available for other selected charities and individual fundraisers within the region.
This season we've supported more than 100 different charities and organisations including: RNLI, Royal British Legion, Macmillan, HERIB, the MS Society, Dove House Hospice, schoolchildren in Africa and numerous smaller local charities and community groups.
Our players and members of City staff have played an active role in charity fundraising since the start of this season, and will be taking part in the Jane Tomlinson run in summer to raise further money for good causes.
By the end of this season, the Tigers will have given ten different charities the opportunity to hold a matchday ground collection.
In addition to straightforward donations, our players play a big part in the Club's charity & community activity, setting aside hundreds of combined hours of their personal time to make presentations, visit hospitals, schools and give a boost to community events.
In order to manage the volume of requests we receive, we have created a policy and process to make sure that every request receives attention and is fairly considered.
We will endeavour to send a written response to all requests we receive, be they successful or unsuccessful, but we do ask that you try and give us as much advance notice as you possibly can.
