Hull City will open the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season with a trip to newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers.

The new fixture lists for the forthcoming campaign were revealed at 9am this morning with the Tigers to start at Loftus Road on the first weekend of the season. With confidence likely to be high at QPR following their dramatic play-off final win last month, it will be down to Steve Bruce’s side to spoil the R’s return to the top flight in a game currently scheduled for Saturday 16th August.

It will be the Tigers’ first visit to Loftus Road since David Amoo’s late goal earned a 1-1 draw in April 2011, and the second time in less than ten years that the two sides have met on the opening weekend of the season following a 0-0 draw at the KC Stadium on the first day of the 2005/06 Championship campaign.

Stoke City will be the first visitors to the KC Stadium in the new season before the Tigers face a trip to Aston Villa ahead of hitting our first international break, with West Ham arriving in East Yorkshire immediately after.

The festive period will see Steve Bruce visit one of his former clubs on Boxing Day when he takes his side to Sunderland before home games against Leicester City and Everton on Sunday 28th December and Thursday 1st January respectively.

Our final away game of the season takes us to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 16th May before the league campaign comes to an end with a home game against Manchester United on Sunday 24th May.
