Having recovered from the Achilles problem that forced him to miss a large proportion of last season, Aluko has played in each of the Tigers’ four top flight matches so far and completed his first full 90 minutes since January in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cardiff.
Many selected him as their Man of the Match against the Bluebirds and Aluko is pleased with his form and fitness.
“That was my first 90 minutes for months and I still felt strong at the end of the game,” said Aluko.
“I was still putting the sprints in and trying to create chances and it’s coming along well.
“I was happy with how I played. I felt sharp, got on the ball and felt I used it well and it was just a shame we couldn’t get the three points.
“I managed to get a few shots off and had a goal disallowed as well, but it just didn’t quite happen in front of goal on Saturday.
“It has been enjoyable so far and I said before the season that if you can stay fit, you should enjoy every game.
“This is one of the best leagues in the world and you have to enjoy it.”
