Ahmed Elmohamady hopes the Tigers can turn all of the positive energy that has been built up through the club’s return to the Barclays Premier League into three points against Norwich City at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
The game is the Tigers’ first competitive fixture at home since promotion back to the top flight was secured on the final day of last season and Elmohamady is expecting Saturday to be a special occasion for players and fans alike.
“It felt great to be back playing in the Premier League last weekend,” said Elmohamady.
“We’re playing in the biggest league in the world and against the top teams in England and the top teams in the world.
“We’re now all looking forward to playing Norwich in our first home game. Our fans were great last season and we always felt like everything was fantastic whenever we played at home.
“Hopefully we can get three points on Saturday and make the fans happy.”
Tickets for Saturday’s game are still available – call 01482 505600 or visit the KC Stadium Ticket Office in person.
