In a home changing room packed full of press, photographers and television cameras, Tom had his locks cut and is now sporting a shorter style thanks to his barber.
The haircut, which was set in motion when Tom ended a two-and-a-half year goal drought against Fulham at the weekend, took place on Thursday afternoon.
After the final snips, Tom said: “I’m pleased with how it has turned out, although my head feels a little colder now!
“I’m pleased that I can get my haircut in my own time now, but it’s all been for a good cause and it’s fantastic that so much money has been raised for Cancer Research UK.”
Donations continue to come in for Tom’s chosen charity with more than £37,000 raised by the midfielder so far. To make a donation visit www.justgiving.com/huddlefro
