Hull City will feature live on television three times in the opening months of our return to the Barclays Premier League.
A list of live televised fixtures was released on Thursday morning and confirms that the Tigers’ opening game of the season away at Chelsea will be broadcast live by Sky Sports. As a result, the game has been moved to Sunday 18th August, with kick-off at Stamford Bridge set for 4pm.
Steve Bruce’s side will be live on television again just two weeks later with the trip to Manchester City having been chosen for live coverage by BT Sport. This game will be played on Saturday 31st August with kick-off now at 12.45pm.
There will then be a three-month gap before the Tigers feature live on television again. The home fixture against Liverpool has been chosen for broadcast by Sky Sports and has been moved to Sunday 1st December with kick-off currently scheduled for 1.30pm. However, please note that the kick-off time may be put back to 2.05pm if Tottenham Hotspur’s home game against Manchester United is moved to a noon slot on the same day – this will depend on Spurs’ involvement in the Europa League.
As a result of the Tigers’ home fixture against Liverpool being moved to the Sunday, our midweek trip to Arsenal has been put back 24 hours and will now take place on Wednesday 4th December with kick-off at 7.45pm.
