Hull City have today completed the signing of goalkeeper Allan McGregor for an undisclosed fee from Besiktas, subject to international clearance. The 31-year-old joins the Tigers on a three-year deal following a 12-month stay in Turkey.
Having been capped 29 times by Scotland, McGregor has also made over 200 appearances for Glasgow Rangers and he is now looking forward to the challenge of playing in the Barclays Premier League with the Tigers.
“I’m really excited to be here and I’m happy that everything is done now,” said McGregor.
“I can’t wait to get started here. This is a great chance for me to play in the Premier League and I’m looking forward to the season ahead.”
McGregor will meet up with his new team-mates for the first time later this week when pre-season training gets underway.
