New boss Marco Silva oversaw two contrasting fixtures against Swansea City and Manchester United but is now preparing for his bow in England’s top flight.
Huddlestone, who captained the side against United last night, admits he’s been impressed by his new boss’ eye for detail and insists the team are focused on picking up a positive result against the Cherries at the weekend.
“I think the gaffer has been brilliant so far and he has given us a lot of information to work on going into the games,” said Huddlestone.
“When the games do calm down and we’re back to one match a week then you’ll start to see all of his eye for detail come to fruition.
“We are in all week now to prepare for a tough test against Bournemouth and we’re desperate to put right the result we suffered down at their place.
“We need to start winning games to get out of the mess we find ourselves in and home games at the KCOM Stadium will be key to that.
“We have a lot of games still to play at home and it’s important to use Saturday as a springboard for the rest of the season.
“It would be great if the fans could come out in their numbers and help us towards a positive result. We’re giving all we can at the moment and a packed KCOM could be the difference for us on the day.”
