A look at how our players who are out on loan got on at the weekend:

Allan McGregor kept a clean sheet to help Cardiff City to a 2-0 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road. It was McGregor’s third shut-out in three appearances for the Bluebirds, with Saturday’s win helping the Welsh side up to 14th place in the Championship table.

In League Two, striker Jonathan Edwards played the full 90 minutes and centre back Harvey Rodgers got 60 minutes under his belt as Accrington were beaten 2-0 by Portsmouth. The defeat leaves Accrington three points above the relegation zone.

Elsewhere, James Weir (Wigan), Josh Clackstone (Notts County) and Max Clark (Cambridge) were all unused substitutes, while Alex Bruce awaits his first involvement in the Wigan matchday squad.
