Marco Silva is preparing to take his players away for a warm-weather training camp this week as he looks to make full use of a break in the fixture list.

The Tigers’ first team squad will fly out to Portugal on Wednesday for a week-long camp, giving Silva a first real extended opportunity to spend time on the training ground with his players since taking over as Head Coach in early January.

A 28-man squad has been selected to travel to the Algarve, with Curtis Davies, Ryan Mason and Moses Odubajo the only senior players who won’t travel as they continue their injury recovery at home.

The players will return to East Yorkshire a week on Wednesday, ahead of their key Premier League fixture with Burnley at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday 25th February.

Tickets for the game against Burnley are on sale now. Buy online at www.tigerleisure.com
