The Tigers head to South Yorkshire still waiting to register their first league win of the season, whilst also aiming to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing home defeat at the hands of Blackburn Rovers, and Head Coach Adkins says his players have to be prepared for a different type of challenge when coming up against the Millers.
“It’s going to be tough because they’re a big physical outfit,” he said.
“Blackburn were a good side but Rotherham will play a different way and we will have to stand up to that. The other side of it is that we will have to play the sort of game we want to play.
“They are a massive threat. They will get the ball forward, get it in the box and will be a big threat from set plays, free-kicks, long throws, corners.
“It’s going to be a physical game and we have to be ready for that, but we want to play good football and impose our style of play on the game more.
“Football is all about finding a way to win though and that’s what we have to do at Rotherham.”
