The midfielder was the only absentee from the squad that faced Charlton Athletic at the KCOM Stadium last weekend but will come back into contention for the Sky Bet Championship clash at St. Andrew’s having trained throughout the week at the Club’s Cottingham base.
“It’s been a good week for us,” he said. “Everyone came through the Charlton game and thankfully we’ve got no injuries to contend with ahead of going to Birmingham.
“We had a couple of little issues – nothing serious – in the early stages of the week but, as of today (Thursday), everything is good. James Scott has been in training all week after the little set-back he had that required him to have an injection which I mentioned last week.
“Reece Burke has got another full week of training under his belt, which is good, as have one or two others that were a bit short ahead of the Charlton game as well – including Leo Da Silva Lopes, who has trained all week after recovering from illness.
“Everyone has trained and we’ve got a fully-fit squad for the weekend. It’s nice to have the options we do now.”
Saturday’s hosts will welcome Kristian Pedersen back into the fold after the Danish full-back recovers from the groin issue that kept him out for the Blues’ previous game away at West Brom. However, Head Coach Pep Clotet will continue to be without both Marc Roberts and Ivan Sunjic who miss out with thigh strains.
