20-year-old Batty has made three senior appearances for the Tigers this season, the most recent of which came from the bench in our Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round tie with Chelsea, and has now signed a deal that will see him stay at the KCOM Stadium until at least 2020.
Batty joined the Club’s Academy as an U18 and has impressed, mainly in a central midfield role, ever since as he has become a regular in the U23s over the last couple of seasons.
He is now looking forward to continuing his development with regular first team football very much his aim.
“I’m delighted to have signed a new contract here and it’s great to have that added security as I look to keep improving as a player,” said Batty.
“This season has been an important one in my development having made my senior debut and also had a loan spell with Halifax. I’m excited about what the next couple of years will bring as I continue to work hard towards my goal of regular first team football.”
