New signing Dicko came off the bench for former club Wolverhampton Wanderers when they won 2-0 at Pride Park last month, and the striker is now hoping to mark his debut in a black and amber shirt with a similar result although he expects a difficult night.
“Derby have a good squad and everybody knows that they are usually a team that is fighting for promotion,” said Dicko.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Derby are in the top six at the end of the season and I’m sure they will give us a tough game on Friday night.
“However, our ambition this season is also to get to the Premier League. That isn’t an easy task because there are some big clubs in the Championship, but I think we have brought some good players in during the transfer window.
“We are all looking forward to the game on Friday night.”
Dicko has been with the Club for just over a week now and is pleased with the way he is settling in.
“I feel as though I am settling in well and everything is good,” he continued.
“The first week has been good with training, meeting the players and the staff and I’m really happy to be here.
“It just felt like the right time to make a move and when Hull City came for me my mind was focussed on getting the deal done. I’m delighted that happened.”
