Fleming Joins Bolton On Loan Until The End Of The Season

17 January 2020
Hull City can confirm that Brandon Fleming has joined League One side Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old left-back has featured seven times in all competitions for the Tigers this season, four of which have come in the Sky Bet Championship.

Fleming, who has been on the Tigers’ books since the age of nine, heads to the University of Bolton Stadium in a bid to get more regular game time under his belt and is available for selection for Wanderers’ home game against Portsmouth at the weekend.

Reflecting on the Academy product’s temporary switch, Head Coach Grant McCann said: “Brandon will go and get some games at Bolton and I think it’s a really good opportunity for him.

“It’s a chance for him to get some first-team games under his belt at a good standard in League One. Hopefully, he can go there, show what he’s capable of and do well, which I’m sure he will.

“Hopefully, his experiences there will put him in a really good position when he comes back to us ahead of next season.

“It’s a loan and nothing else. Brandon has got a huge future at this football club but this move will benefit him and his development so much. I’m delighted for him.”

The Club would like to wish Brandon every success during his time at Bolton.
