The Polish winger was in sparkling form during the month of September and found the back of the net in each of the Tigers’ three Championship games. An important goal against Luton Town was sandwiched in between spectacular free-kicks against Wigan Athletic and Cardiff City, with the game against the Latics also marking his 100th appearance for the Club.
In the poll conducted by main club sponsor SportPesa, Grosicki secured 45% of votes ahead of fellow nominees Jordy de Wijs (34%), Kevin Stewart (16%) and George Long (5%).
Reflecting on winning the award, Grosicki said: “I am very happy to win this award – it is something that gives me great satisfaction.
“I’m feeling good and this is because the manager here is always encouraging me. I am really enjoying working for him.
“I would also like to thank the supporters who voted. I feel like I have a good relationship with the fans – one that I hope will continue to grow. Their support is a big motivation to give everything for this team.”
The accolade makes it a September double for Grosicki, who also claimed the Club’s Goal of the Month award for his stunning free-kick against Wigan Athletic.
