Jonathan Edwards Signs New Deal

03 July 2017
Young striker Jonathan Edwards has signed a new one-year contract with the Tigers, with the deal including the option of an additional 12 months.

After impressing for the Club’s Under-23 side, Edwards spent the second half of last season on loan with Accrington Stanley and the 20-year-old will again join the League Two side after agreeing a season-long loan deal. The Tigers hold an option to recall the striker in January.

Edwards was signed last summer after impressing during a trial, with the former Peterborough United man showing his talent in the Professional Development League before going on to score once in 11 appearances for Accrington.
