The 24-year-old left-back was hugely impressed with the support given by the black and amber faithful last time out at the KCOM Stadium against Derby County prior to the international break and is eager for a repeat showing when the Tractor Boys make the trip to East Yorkshire as the Tigers go in search of a first home win of the campaign.
“The fans were brilliant last time out against Derby,” he said. “They got behind the team for the full game.
“I think they could see just how hard we were working and how hard we were trying to dominate the game.
“I think that is why they got behind us in the manner they did. They could see that we – as a team – were fighting for them and giving our all for the shirt and they repaid us for that with great support.
“We need that to continue to be the case for the remainder of the season now, especially in our home games.
“I can’t stress how much of an important role they can play – home and away – but at the end of the day it’s down to us a team to give the fans something to shout about.”
Tickets for Saturday’s home game against Ipswich Town remain on general sale, with prices starting from just £12. Click here to buy online or alternatively head down to Tiger Leisure at the KCOM Stadium to buy in person.
