Nigel Adkins has masterminded a massive transformation in the team’s fortunes over the past two-and-a-half months – with just one defeat in the last twelve league games – which has seen the Club move out of the bottom three in the Sky Bet Championship up to 13th – level on points with Swansea City in mid-table.
“It’s testament to how hard the boys – and staff – have been working day in, day out on the training pitch and in games,” said Kingsley.
“It’s done everyone’s confidence the world of good and hopefully we can get to a point shortly where we’re looking at what’s going on above us in the table rather than below.
“We’ve lost just one of our last twelve league games now and have moved up the table as a result, which has been great to see. Considering where we’ve been for the majority of the season, that’s massive.
“It’s been a testing time for every team in the division over the last few weeks but to be on the run of form we are is great.
“It’s come at an important stage of the season and we’re going into games with much more confidence and belief. The aim now is to maintain our form going forward as we look to continue moving up the table.”
