Supported by the Tigers, along with Everton and Southampton who are also international partners of SportPesa, the campaign gives fans the opportunity to donate any unwanted items of football kit to be sent to less privileged teams in Africa and forms part of SportPesa’s global mission to develop grassroots football within the African continent.
Deposit bins for items of kit are now in place at the following locations:
Tiger Leisure – KCOM Stadium
Tiger Leisure – Prospect Shopping Centre
University of Hull – Sports Reception (Inglemire Lane)
KCOM – Carr Lane, Hull City Centre
All four deposit bins will remain in place until the end of December and donations of football shirts, shorts, socks, shin pads, boots and goalkeeper gloves will be gratefully received.
In addition, the Tigers will be showing further support for the campaign at the Boxing Day home game against Derby County when the team will be wearing ‘Kits For Africa’ branded shirts, with Everton set to do similar when they play Manchester United on New Year’s Day.
