Lichaj Starts For U.S Against Mexico

12 September 2018
Eric Lichaj played just under an hour for the US as they beat Mexico 1-0 in an international friendly in Tennessee in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Lichaj was included from the start, playing at left back before being replaced by Antonee Robinson, currently on loan at Wigan Athletic, after 56 minutes.

The US won the game courtesy of Tyler Adams’ second half strike.

Rounding up the action for the rest of the Tigers’ internationals, Markus Henriksen played the full 90 minutes in Norway’s 1-0 Nations League defeat against Bulgaria on Sunday night while Nouha Dicko sat out Mali’s 3-0 victory over South Sudan in a Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
