The Tigers will train in front of the fans as the team’s preparations for next weekend’s Sky Bet Championship trip to Fulham continue, with gates (23-26 in the South West corner) opening at 9.30am, before training is scheduled to kick-off at 10am.
It promises to be a fantastic day of family-friendly entertainment, featuring face painting, freestyle footballers, selfie opportunities with our mascots Roary and Amber, balloon artists and a mini kit display provided by @HullCityKits, with fans then having the opportunity to meet the players and staff to make the day even more special.
The session comes on the back of the Club’s Half Term @ Hull City offer for Saturday’s home game against Derby County, which resulted in the highest home attendance of the season so far with 16,326 fans inside the ground to witness the 2-0 win over the Rams, and it’s an event that the Leonardo Da Silva Lopes is looking forward to.
“The fans were brilliant on Saturday,” he said.
“It was good to see more people in the stands and the atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic. They really were like a twelfth man for us and it was great to reward them with the win.
“We’ve now got this open training session on Tuesday, which will hopefully see a really good turnout and the fans will enjoy what they see.
“It’s a chance for them to get close to the players, see what we do during the week in training and have that interaction afterwards. We’re all looking forward to it, and it’s always nice to see the fans.”
Please note that Tuesday’s open training session is fully booked. Only fans with tickets will be allowed to enter the stadium.
Limited parking will be available on the South Stand car park on a first-come, first-served basis. Food kiosks on the West Stand concourse will also be open.
