The Tigers have been in sparkling form at home in recent weeks with wins against Brentford, Swansea City, Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City, scoring 16 goals and keeping three clean sheets in the process.
Rotherham, meanwhile, arrive at the KCOM Stadium seeking a first away win of the season and looking to boost their hopes of Championship survival – the very reason why Marshall knows his side will have to be on good form.
“If we’re going to do anything in the top half of the table then every game is going to have that big game feeling about it between now and the end of the season,” said Marshall.
“We also know the pressures of being at the other end of the table from our experiences last season and at the start of this season, so we know how Rotherham will be feeling.
“It’s one of those Championship games that you cannot take lightly and we will really need to perform to get another win at home.
“You often find, at this time of the season, that the teams towards the bottom start to pick up points just as we did this time last year so every game is dangerous.
“We just need to go out and play with the confidence we’ve shown in the last two or three months.”
