McCann Looks Forward To Return To Action

18 October 2019
Grant McCann is looking forward to seeing his Hull City side take on Queens Park Rangers at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

McCann is expecting the visitors to arrive in confident mood having won five of their last seven Sky Bet Championship fixtures, but the Head Coach is keen to see his side return to action after the international break in positive fashion.

“QPR have got some real confidence going at the moment,” said McCann.

“Mark Warburton has gone in there and given them a different style, a different formation and a different way of playing. He always has really good footballing sides. They’ve got some good young players playing more regularly, they have some good individuals and they’re a good team.

“They’re structured in the way that they play and you can see that they’re well drilled.

“It’s going to be a difficult game, but as always we’ll make sure that we’re focussed on ourselves and have a game-plan that gets to their weaknesses.

“We’ll have to be good without the ball, but then when we have possession we need to be as good as we have been this season. We’ve worked on that a lot this week.”
