The Hungarian striker made his long-awaited return to action in the Professional Development League clash at Bishop Burton having failed to feature since picking up a calf problem in the Tigers’ win away at Nottingham Forest in late October on what was his first appearance for the Club.
“I was pleased to see Norbert get a run out on Friday,” said McCann. “It was a good workout for him.
“He’s been out for about something like ten weeks now, so it was important to get some minutes into him.
“Hopefully, we can now get him more minutes with the Under-23s later this week because he’ll need a few games to get back up to speed – probably three or four.”
