Millwall vs Hull City: Team News

06 December 2018
Nigel Adkins says that both Eric Lichaj and Reece Burke are ‘very unlikely’ to be fit to face Millwall at the weekend.

The defensive duo were both forced off during last Saturday’s victory over Queens Park Rangers, Lichaj with a calf injury and Burke with a hamstring problem, with Adkins giving an update on the pair, and a number of others, at a Thursday morning meeting with the media.

“We have big concerns over both of them for the weekend and they haven’t been in training with the group so far this week,” said Adkins.

“We’ll see if they train in the next couple of sessions but I’d have to say that it’s very unlikely that either of them will be fit for Saturday.

“Stephen Kingsley is still a doubt at the moment, Evandro won’t be fit for the weekend and Nouha Dicko is touch and go to make it.

“Jon Toral won’t be available for the weekend. We’d like to think it’s not too serious but it is a bit of a setback. It’s frustrating for Jon and for us but it’s something we all have to deal with.

“There are one or two other little concerns for the weekend as well but that’s the way football is.”
