The Club was saddened to learn of the recent passing of former player John McSeveney.
McSeveney played for Hull City between 1961 and 1964 after signing from Newport County and went on to make 183 appearances, scoring 70 goals for the Tigers.
A tricky winger who could operate on either flank, McSeveney was energetic in his play and was not easily knocked off the ball. The Scot mainly operated from the left wing during his time in black and amber, where he would frequently provide ammunition for Chris Chilton, whilst also scoring 22 goals in 39 games during the 1962/63 season.
The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with John’s friends and family at this sad time.
