Hull City’s 100% league record in November has led to Grant McCann being nominated for the EFL Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month, while Josh Emmanuel has been nominated for Sky Bet League One Player of the Month.
The Tigers won all three of their League One matches in November, impressively keeping clean sheets in two of those matches whilst scoring eight at the other end.
November saw McCann’s side overcome tough matches away at MK Dons and Ipswich Town, also beating Burton Albion in their only league home match at the KCOM Stadium.
McCann has been recognised with the award nomination, where he faces competition from John Coleman (Accrington Stanley), Steve Evans (Gillingham), and Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth).
Meanwhile, Emmanuel’s nomination for Player of the Month comes after his impressive start to the 2020/21 campaign for Hull City.
The 23-year-old fullback has played a pivotal part in the Tigers’ impressive defensive record as the men in black and amber kept clean sheets in two of their three matches throughout November. Emmanuel also picked up an assist in November following a superb run down the right against MK Dons.
Like McCann, Emmanuel faces tough competition for the award, with Callum Camps (Fleetwood Town), John Marquis (Portsmouth) and Toby Savin (Accrington Stanley) also nominated.
