The Tigers Sport & Education Trust are currently running a well-being programme to support members of our community during these challenging times.
The last few months have been far from normal for any of us. Daily life, our routines and ways of doing things have changed.
For the greater good we have had to go without seeing family and friends at a time when perhaps we need them the most. Our meeting places have remained closed and the world feels like a different place.
The only thing that remains normal is that we all need that little bit of support during difficult times.
Tigers Team Mates, run by the Tigers Sport & Education Trust, is there to provide that support. Set up for, but not exclusive to, members of our local community aged 55+, Tigers Team Mates aims to help individuals remain engaged with the world around them.
So far over 300 participants have benefitted from regular activities including check in calls, online activities on Zoom such as bingo, quizzes, memorabilia workshops and home workouts.
Support is available for shopping and collecting prescriptions, and we can also arrange organised walks and inclusive sporting activities, or even a chat at your garden gate (when Government guidance allows) or over the phone.
If you feel that you, or anybody you know, might benefit from the work of Tigers Team Mates please feel free to give us a call on 01482 358371 and ask to speak to Abdul or Josh, or email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
