Homegrown left-back Brandon Fleming has signed a new contract that will keep him at Hull City until the summer of 2023, with a Club option of a further year.
The talented 20-year-old joined the Club as an Under-10 and has made 20 senior appearances for the Tigers, including six this term.
He made his professional debut in an EFL Cup tie at Doncaster in August 2017 and spent part of that season on loan at non-league Gainsborough.
He was handed his Hull City league debut in a 2-2 Championship draw at Millwall in December 2018 – one of six appearances that campaign.
Last season, Fleming featured seven times for the Tigers and also enjoyed a productive loan spell with Bolton, making 10 appearances for the Trotters.
The defender has continued his progress in 2020/21, with five of his six outings coming in the cups.
“We believe Brandon has got a bright future here at this football club,” said Head Coach Grant McCann.
"He showed real hunger and determination to get the deal done and we want him to challenge and compete with Callum Elder for the left-back position.
“The loan at Bolton last year helped him and he’s started this season well.
“He was unfortunate to come out of the team but he’s got his head down, worked hard and realises he’s here to fight for that position.
“He wants to learn, he wants to get better. He’s attacking but also really aggressive in his defending.
“We’re delighted he’s signed a new deal.”
