Grant McCann will give opportunities to players who featured for the U23s on Monday when Hull City entertain Fleetwood.
A strong team lined up for the U23s fixture against Charlton Athletic, with the likes of George Long, Dan Batty and James Scott all starting.
The Tigers are in FA Cup first-round action against fellow League One side Fleetwood this afternoon and McCann has said he will make changes.
“Most of the team that played on Monday will have an opportunity,” said McCann.
“Not all of them will play but some of those players will get an opportunity to play in this game.
“There’ll be some changes but it won’t be wholesale. Not having a game on Tuesday night (after Accrington was postponed) also gives us an opportunity to be as strong as we can be.
“It’s a chance for us to rest those who have some knocks and niggles, nothing serious that’ll keep them out of league matches.”
Scott scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory against the Addicks, and McCann is hoping he can now put his injury problems behind him.
“It’s been stop-start for him, in a similar way to Tom Eaves,” McCann added.
“Little knocks and niggles he’s picked up in the early part of the season but he’s getting back now.
“It was nice to see him scoring in the U23s game. He played as a nine which is good for him because he’s played there for Scotland.
“He can play anywhere across the front three which is one of the reasons we brought him to the football club. He gives us something different there, he wants to run in behind.
“He’s got as good a chance as everyone else to start against Fleetwood.”
