Greg Docherty says that Hull City need to build momentum ahead of a busy period of fixtures.
The midfielder and his teammates are set for a busy run-in at the end of October, and Docherty wants the Tigers to put last Friday’s defeat behind them with a response at Rochdale today.
“We’ve had a few difficult games and we managed to come out strong in them. Obviously last week was disappointing but we’re looking at it in the way that it’s a really big learning curve for us in this league and no matter who you go up against, you’ve got to be on it.
“It’s time to bounce back from that defeat now. We’ve had a really strong training week and we’re ready to go again today.
“October is going to be relentless with games on Saturdays and Tuesdays but that’s what you want as a player. We’ve got some tough fixtures coming up but it’s a chance to build some momentum again, kick on and make up for the points that we dropped last week.
“Rochdale is going to be tough. Again, they’ll be right up for it but we’ve been watching their clips. They’ll be a tough team to break down and they’ve had a couple of good results but there’s no reason why we can’t go there and implement our game.
