Hakeeb Adelakun is “buzzing” to have joined Hull City and can’t wait to get back to playing games.
The 24-year-old has moved to the Tigers on a season-long loan from Championship side Bristol City and is determined to have a successful season in black and amber.
“My aims are to get as many games as I can, help the team as much as I can, goals and assists, and get back in the groove of playing football,” said Adelakun.
“There was interest before when I was at Scunthorpe. When I heard about it again, I thought this was a great opportunity to get myself playing and be involved in this journey we’re on to get back into the Championship next season.
“Promotion is not something that comes along often. It was great to be part of it at Rotherham when I was there and I’m hoping to get the same this season.
“I like to carry the ball, I love beating defenders one v one, just creating as much chances as I can and hopefully I’ll grab a few goals myself.
“I’m excited and buzzing to be here. I can’t wait to get started.”
