Forward Billy Chadwick has been recalled from his loan spell with National League side FC Halifax Town.
The 20-year-old scored three goals in five appearances during his month-long stay at The Shay, helping Pete Wild’s side climb from 16th to sixth and into the play-off places.
The Hull-born frontman had a debut to remember as the Shaymen overcame Hartlepool United in the FA Trophy third round.
Brought straight into the starting XI, Chadwick bagged Town’s third goal in a thrilling 3-3 draw before converting the winning penalty in a 4-2 shootout success.
He then helped record a 3-1 win over Eastleigh and netted against Hartlepool again in a 3-1 league reverse.
Chadwick was on target for a third time as Halifax edged a five-goal thriller against Altrincham before making his final appearance in a 1-1 draw at King’s Lynn Town.
The talented youngster links back up with Hull City having made five substitute appearances for the Tigers this season.
