New signing Daniel Crowley has set his sights on providing further creative flair to the Hull City attack.
The 23-year-old joined the Tigers on-loan from Birmingham City and has enjoyed an encouraging start to life at the KCOM Stadium, but now wants to kick on as he competes for a place in Grant McCann’s starting XI.
“I feel as if I’m settling in really well,” said Crowley. “I’m really enjoying it here and the lads and the staff have been great. It’s just about getting my match sharpness up now.
“It hasn’t taken long for me to settle in. It’s a really welcoming group and a good bunch of lads who have really helped me out so it’s been great so far.
“I probably should’ve scored on my debut. I think I was a bit rusty and hopefully that’s out of me now and when I get the chance again, I’ll put those away.
“I’m really hungry to play now. I’ve just got to be patient but I can’t wait to get in the starting eleven and get going. I feel that I can bring a bit of creativity, of which there is already loads of in the team, but I can add more. I’m confident on the ball and at controlling the game whilst getting goals and assists so I just want to be a threat and try to add as much as I can to this team.
“At Birmingham we were going through a tough spell and now I’ve come here and it’s completely different. We’re setting targets as a team where we want to be winning every single game and we do think we can win every game. It’s great to be in that environment, especially as an attacker. You play better when the team are playing better and there’s goals and chances being created and that’s the sort of team I want to be in.”
