A young Tigers side ended the Club's 14-year to wait to lift the East Riding FA Senior Cup with a 2-1 victory over Bridlington Town on Tuesday night.
Jon Beale's side produced an impressive team display to avenge last season's cup final defeat to the Seasiders thanks to goals from Max Sheaf and Lewis Keane-Potter.
Sheaf opened the scoring on 23 minutes with a sublime strike. Dan Hawkins and Lewis-Potter linked up well on the edge of the box to tee up the midfielder, who produced a fine first touch before finding the top corner with a lovely curling effort.
Chris Jenkinson levelled the scored two minutes later, bundling the ball home from close-range, but the Tigers responded fantastically to the disappointment to restore the lead on the half-hour mark. Jacob Greaves' sumptuous pass found the run of Lewis-Potter inside the box and he produced a fine first-time finish to fire the ball past Jody Barford.
The Seasiders were reduced to ten men 15 minutes from time as James Williamson saw red for bringing down Dan Hawkins when the winger was through on goal and although Will Mannion had to produce a couple of saves late on, the Tigers held on to claim the trophy.
