The Tigers have no fresh injury worries ahead of Saturday’s home game against Reading and are set to welcome Michael Dawson and Seb Larsson back into the squad.
Dawson and Larsson were both rested for last weekend’s FA Cup win at Blackburn but are expected to return for the visit of the Royals.
Head Coach Nigel Adkins will still be without Kamil Grosicki though, with the Polish international expected to return to action against Sunderland next week, while Ondrej Mazuch was only due back in training today following a hamstring problem.
Will Keane has made a goal-scoring return to action with the U23s this week but isn’t ready for first team selection just yet after 14 months out with a knee injury while Stephen Kingsley, Abel Hernandez, Ryan Mason, James Weir and Moses Odubajo remain sidelined.
Reading hope to have striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and defender Liam Moore available after both missed the goalless FA Cup draw with Stevenage, while former Tigers Paul McShane, Vito Mannone, Sone Aluko and Stephen Quinn all form part of the Royals’ squad, although Quinn hasn’t played since August.
