Fraizer Campbell and Evandro, who both came off the bench in Saturday’s loss at Nottingham Forest, will be in contention to start at Carrow Road, as will Kevin Stewart and Liam Ridgewell.
Adkins will also have the option to bring Stephen Kingsley, who has missed the last three games through injury (hip) and illness, fit-again Jon Toral and Nouha Dicko back into his squad having left the trio out of the Tigers’ travelling party that headed to The City Ground at the weekend.
“I said before the Nottingham Forest game that we’d make changes over the course of the three games in the space of a week,” said Adkins.
“There’s no way I can think about playing the same team for three games running. When you play Norwich on a Wednesday night and then have the turnaround to play at home on a Saturday, it is very challenging.
“We’ve got players who put a lot of physical output in so the squad has to be utilised. However, we’re in a position where we can’t afford to pick and choose which games we look to win.”
Daniel Farke has no new injury concerns ahead of the Tigers’ visit to Carrow Road. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Canaries boss said that everyone who was available for selection for the 1-0 win against Swansea City last Friday will be available for Wednesday night’s clash in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
