The point gained from Saturday’s six-goal thriller away at Birmingham City saw the Tigers move out of the bottom three at the foot of the table at Huddersfield’s expense, which remained the case following the Terriers’ 3-1 defeat away at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
And with seven games still to play in the campaign, Scott insists he and his team-mates are united in their desire to improve results on the pitch as they bid to secure the Club’s safety.
“There’s so much belief in the group that we can get the job done,” he said. “We know that we’ve got enough talent in the squad to win games at this level. We also have the character required as well.
“But, we’re the ones that have to go out onto the pitch and prove that now. Our mentality is good and we firmly believe that we can get the results we need in order to remain in the Championship.
“We know that results need to improve and we’re working hard as a group to make that happen. We just have to keep our minds set and focused on the job going into each game.”
