George Long is now in his third season as a Hull City player having arrived from Sheffield United in July 2018.
The custodian came through the youth ranks at Sheffield United and made his first-team debut at the age of 17 before representing the Blades' youth team in the 2011 FA Youth Cup Final against Manchester United.
Long went on to make 123 appearances between the posts for United, including 100 league appearances, and also enjoyed loan spells at Oxford United (2014/15), Motherwell (2014/15) and AFC Wimbledon (2017/18).
Despite only being 24-years-of-age when making the move to the KCOM Stadium, he arrived with a wealth of first-team experience and has since added more than half a century of games in a Tigers' shirt to his already impressive career tally.
Long made six appearances in his first season in HU3, four of which came in the Championship, before establishing himself as the Club's first-choice goalkeeper under Grant McCann in 2019/20 with 46 games in all competitions, keeping seven clean sheets.
