Midfielder Regan Slater joined the Club on a season-long loan from Sheffield United in September 2020.
Gleadless-born Slater progressed through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane and became the Blades' youngest-ever goalscorer when netting on his senior debut against Grimsby in the EFL Trophy in 2016.
The 21-year-old has spent the last two seasons out on loan in League Two, making 41 appearances for Carlisle in 2018/19 and 15 at Scunthorpe last term.
