Ticket Model Vote Results

Following the recent Members’ vote, the Club is pleased to announce that it will be operating a Concessionary Ticket Model from the 2019/20 season.

Members were invited to vote for their preference between the current Membership Model operated by the Club – including a Zone 3 price reduction and the introduction of a Family Bundle package – and a Concessionary Ticket Model based on the pricing structure used in the 2010/11 season (please note these prices include inflation & VAT).

The Club was fully committed to the vote being a democratic process which resulted in an outcome that gave a fair representation of Members’ wishes. In order to be representative of the current Membership base, the vote was required to have at least a 40% turn-out in order for significant changes to be implemented.

44.7% of Members exercised their right to vote, with 58.1% voting in favour of option B (Concessionary Ticket Model) and 41.9% opting for option A (Current Membership Model with Zone 3 Price Reduction and introducing the Family Bundle). For transparency, the Club also received a total of 716 invalid votes from non-Members or duplicates.

As a result of the Members’ vote, concession prices will be reintroduced at the KCOM Stadium next season with categories for Adults, Seniors, Young Adults (15-22), Juniors (11-14) and Juniors aged 10 and under, with the KCOM Stadium seating plan reverting back to the one used by the Club during the 2010/11 campaign (please see below).

 

We would also like to reiterate that this will remain a Membership-based model. Please see below for the monthly prices for this structure (match-by-match prices will be confirmed shortly, which we can confirm will also be a concessions model).

 

This structure means that an Adult and two Juniors aged 10 and under can attend for less than £19 per match, whilst two Seniors, one Junior (11-14) and one Junior aged 10 and under can attend for a little over £27 per match. Seniors, meanwhile, will be able to attend matches for a cost of just £234 per year.

Whilst some Adult Members may see a rise in their monthly Membership price for the coming season, our prices remain competitive with Adult Memberships working out from just £18.78 per match.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
All current members will automatically transition to the new 2019/20 Membership-model pricing structure from 1st October Direct Debit payment. For any Members who wish to cancel, please email [email protected].

Members need to ensure we have correct dates of birth against their account to ensure the correct age group prices are charged. Members can update their date of birth in our records by calling the Sales Centre on 01482 358418 or emailing on [email protected].

Any members who do not have a date of birth against their record will automatically default to full adult prices.

We can also confirm that all Members will be issued with a new Membership card in September. As previously stated, we would like to remind all Members to hold onto their current Membership cards. However, any Members who need to a new card should contact the Sales Centre in order to do so.

EARLY ADOPTERS KEEPING SAME SEAT
All current members can opt to take up the concession price from the Direct Debit collection on 1st July 2019.

They can register to adopt the new prices by registering online or in person in Tiger Leisure at the KCOM Stadium.

The existing Direct Debit mandate will be used but, due to a change in collection amount, the mandate holder should be the person registering to call the Sales Centre to make the changes.

Members will receive a replacement stadium access card for their new seat prior to the first match of the Season.

NORTH STAND MEMBERS – PRIORITY PERIOD
All North Stand members will be required to choose new seats in other areas of the Stadium.

All North Stand members will pay no more than £21 per month until 1st October 2019 when the new rates will apply.

There will be a priority movers period for North Stand Members to give them the choice of all available seats within the Stadium between 4th June and 14th June.

North Stand Members will need to speak with a member of the Sales Team to move to a specific new seat.

Telephone lines will be open normal 9am to 5pm throughout the Priority Period (until 7pm on Tuesday 4th June, Wednesday 5th June and Friday 7th June). The lines will also be open Saturday 8th June (9am to 1pm).

Any North Stand members who do not contact the sales team will automatically be assigned a new seat in the East Stand before the end of July 2019.

ALL OTHER MOVERS & ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Any non-North Stand members or members wishing to move seats or purchase additional memberships will have a two-week period between 17th June-28th June.

Members will need to speak with a member of the Sales Team to purchase a new seat.

Please note a new Membership fee will be applicable from 1st July 2019 if members take up concession prices move prior to 21st June 2019.

New Direct Debit amounts for Early Adopters or Movers will collect:

• Changes made 4th June to 23rd June – 1st July 2019
• Changes made 24th June to 23rd July – 1st August 2019
• Changes made 24th July to 21st August – 1st September 2019

Should a member wish to change the bank account their Direct Debit mandate collects from they will need to contact the Membership Line on 01482 358381 to set up a new mandate. The mandate holder should be the person calling the Membership Team to make the changes.

NEW MEMBERS
If you wish to become a Member following the introduction of the Concessionary Ticket Model, you can do this by calling our Sales Centre from 1st July.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All membership prices will change from 1st October 2019. Supporters may change to concessionary rates prior to this date by registering online or in Tiger Leisure

North Stand Members will be required to choose a new seat by contacting the Sales team. Any North Stand Member who does not request a new seat by 1st July 2019 will be automatically assigned an East Stand Seat.

Family Area – any new members moving into the Family Stands must have at least one Junior member in the family group.

Concession Prices will be dependent on members having supplied a date of birth on their customer record. Proof of age may be requested. Any members without a date of birth in their customer record will default to full Adult price.

Junior Membership can only be purchased with an Adult/Senior membership due to Under 14s not being permitted into the Stadium unsupervised.

Memberships are non-transferable. No Matchday upgrades or seat moves to another stand will be permitted.

Spot checks on entry to the Stadium will be put in place to ensure any concession memberships are being used by the appropriate person. Proof of age may be requested. Any supporter trying to gain entry on an incorrect concession membership will be ejected from the Stadium and the membership card confiscated.

When a member reaches a birthday which moves them into a new Age Band their Direct Debit will increase from the monthly direct debit collection following the month of Birthday (eg. A member who has a birthday in August will pay the new rate from the 1st October).
