Tigers Face FC Nantes

25 July 2017
The Tigers will play the penultimate game of their pre-season campaign when they host Claudio Ranieri's FC Nantes at KCOM Craven Park this evening (KO 7.30pm).

Tonight’s friendly against ‘Les Canaris’ represents another chance for Leonid Slutsky’s players to impress and stake a further claim for a first-team spot on the opening day of the Sky Bet Championship campaign away at Aston Villa.
The Tigers will be looking to kick on from the impressive 1-0 win over Portuguese champions Benfica at the weekend, which was preceded by a 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers and a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Oxford United in the Algarve. However, the main focus this evening will once again be gaining more valuable match fitness ahead of the all-important trip to Villa Park in just ten days’ time.
One player who won’t be involved for the Tigers tonight is skipper Michael Dawson following his red card against Benfica last time out. Dawson was given his marching orders for a professional foul on Jonas as he burst through on goal in the 77th-minute at the Estadio Algarve, which has resulted in a one-game suspension for the central defender.
Tickets for the game are priced £12. Fans will be able to pay on the gate tonight, with four cash turnstiles available (opening at 6pm). We are expecting a high walk-up for the fixture and advise all fans to arrive in good time ahead of kick-off.
Please note that the East (standing) and West (seating) are now the only stands that will be open for the fixture. Fans who have already purchased North stand tickets will be able to exchange on the night, with stewards available at the ground on the night to assist supporters on this matter. Parking will also be available on site, priced at £5 per car.
