Tigers Sign Fraizer Campbell

18 July 2017
The Tigers have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of free agent Fraizer Campbell.

Campbell, who was part of Phil Brown’s promotion-winning squad in 2007/08 when on loan from Manchester United, has agreed a two-year deal, with the Club holding the option of an additional year.

Starring alongside Dean Windass as the Tigers won promotion to the top flight for the first time in 07/08, Campbell scored 15 times before returning to Old Trafford where he made four senior appearances.

Campbell also played for Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, during which time he earned a call-up for England, and Cardiff City before a move to Crystal Palace in 2014 brought 50 appearances and included a late equaliser against the Tigers at the KCOM Stadium last season.

“I’m delighted to be a Tiger again and hopefully it can go the same way as it did last time with us winning promotion to the Premier League,” said Campbell after agreeing a return to East Yorkshire.

“I’m looking forward to playing at the KCOM Stadium again and I can’t wait to get started.”
