The young Tigers currently sit fourth in the Group E table having registered three points from four games and – like Oxford – need a positive result to stand a chance of progressing from a group that also contains Wolves and Swansea City.
The U’s are one place and one point better off than Jon Beale’s youngsters having won one, drawn one and lost two of their four games in the competition so far.
The first match between the two sides ended in a 2-1 win for the Tigers back in November, with Keane Lewis-Potter scoring both goals.
Admission to the tie – which is being played at Thame United’s ASM Stadium (KO 7pm) – is £3 for Adults and £1 for Under-16s.
Updates from the game will be provided on the Academy’s official Twitter account – @HullCityAcademy.
