Jarrod Bowen, Josh Bowler, Callum Elder and Jordy de Wijs are the four selected nominees for the award after a month in which the Tigers picked up seven points from a possible 15 – including impressive wins over Fulham and Preston North End.
Here’s a look at why the above players have been nominated:
Yet another impressive month for the 22-year-old who scored four goals in five appearances for Grant McCann’s side in November to take his tally for the season to 13 in all competitions. His brace in the 4-0 thrashing of Preston North End at the KCOM Stadium also saw him reach a half-century of goals in black and amber.
The on-loan midfielder began the month in positive fashion when scoring the first senior goal of his professional career in what was only his second league start for the Tigers. Having had to play the waiting game since arriving from Everton due to the impressive form of Bowen and Kamil Grosicki, Bowler has grabbed his opportunity to shine with both hands.
The left-back has been a model of consistency since returning to the side in October and played every minute of the Tigers’ five Championship fixtures last month – a run which saw him make his 100th career senior appearance. Solid and dependable at the back, the Australian has also linked up well with Kamil Grosicki when attacking down the left flank.
Jordy de Wijs
The imposing centre-back can do no wrong on current form and has looked a confident and calm presence at the heart of the Tigers’ backline alongside Reece Burke. Another to have played every minute of the league campaign during November, the Dutchman continues to lead the way with the most clearances (140) and interceptions (42) for the Tigers this season.
