Wilson has joined on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season and will add an extra creative option to Nigel Adkins’ squad.
“As soon as I found out that Hull City were interested I really wanted to make the move, so thankfully everything got done fairly quickly,” said Wilson.
“I feel that it’s the right time for me to make this move, making the step into a first team changing room and into the Championship. It’s a great challenge and one that I’m looking forward to.”
20-year-old Wilson has progressed right the way through Liverpool’s Academy and made his senior debut for the Anfield side as a substitute in an FA Cup win against Plymouth Argyle last season. He also had a spell on loan with Crewe Alexandra during the 2015/16 season.
Before any of that, Wilson had already become a full Welsh international after coming off the bench against Belgium at the age of just 16, although more recently he has been a regular face in their U21 squad.
